The mission of John Sedgwick Junior High School is to provide each student a diverse education in a safe, caring environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and life-long learning.
 
John Sedgwick Junior High utilizes a school-wide citizenship program called Make Your Day. Make Your Day allows students to take ownership and be held accountable for their own education. This program promotes respect and responsibility in how they participate, communicate, and interact with fellow students, staff, and guests in our school environment. Please ask your children how it impacts their daily involvement in the learning process. I look forward to being part of the process and helping your child become a highly successful and independent learner.
