smarter balanced  Sedgwick Students will be taking the Smarter Balanced Assessments in English/Language Arts and Math for 7th and 8th grade students beginning the week of April 20.  The tests will be given during the students' first period class.  Testing will begin promptly so students need to be at school on time.  Please click HERE for a testing schedule and more important information.

Come to the  Spring Dance/Movie  Night/Karaoke Event (Hawaiian Theme), Friday, April 24.  Tickets cost $5 with ASB, $6 without and $8 on the day of the dance.  Tickets must be purchased before 1pm on April 24.  There will be concessions for purchase.
(proceeds go to the 9th grade dance) 

Would you like to try-out for the SKHS Cheer Team for the 2015/16 school year? Cheer team is a yearlong commitment from May 2015 to April 2016. Try-outs are open to all current 8-11th graders and will be held Monday – Thursday April 27th – 30th, 2015 at the high school 3:30-6:30pm.  

 You will need to turn in a “cheerleading try-out packet” AND an “Athletic Participation Packet” for the 2015/16 school year in order to receive a pink clearance slip BEFORE try-outs.  (This requires that you have a current Drs. Sport physical and no outstanding fines).  Packets are available from the Jr. High schools and the High School but need to be turned in AT THE HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS OFFICE.  Applications to try-out WILL NOT be accepted after 2:30pm on Friday April 24th.   Click HERE for the packet.

On Tuesday, May 28 Sedgwick Students will be displaying their "STEM Fair: Improving My Community" projects.
 This is a required project for all 9th graders but optional for 7th and 8th.  More info to come.

    Help raise money by recycling your used printer cartridges. It doesn't matter if it's Laser, Inkjet, Copier or Fax cartridges or cell phones, all of them make a difference. Just bring them by the Main Office at Sedgwick!
