Collaboration Update

As a part of a new initiative to improve teaching and learning, South Kitsap School District has instituted late start Wednesdays each Wednesday morning during the school year. The purpose of this time is for teachers to "collaborate" - to analyze student data, review best instructional practices, and modify and improve instruction based on student needs.
 
Late start Wednesdays.
 
The first bell rings at 8:50 a.m. to enable students to go to lockers and get to class on time. The late bell rings at 8:55 a.m. If your student arrives after 8:55 a.m. they are tardy.
 
Collaboration Notes: No late start on half days or the day before Thanksgiving
