Welcome to Marcus Whitman Junior High School
Home of the Trailblazers
where together we acquire the skills to think, relate, and learn...for life.

Thursday Mar. 26, 6-7 PM,
 at the Marcus Whitman Library.
It's true -- the graduation portfolio requirement since 2005 has been lessened. Come and find out what the NEW Beyond HS Plan requirement entails, and how you can support this process with your freshman beginning now. You will also see the various resources that we are using including: - Using On Tracks for a four year academic plan -- with beyond high school in mind. - Using On Tracks and It's Your Future for career awareness and post high school training and education - Using WOIS access and your student's e-portfolio for a lifelong resource for jobs, careers, training, and education decisions.

Why College Bound?
8th Graders Forms Need to be Submitted by June 30, 2015!

Is it not just for college – this is a scholarship that will pay for any educational or training costs that our students on free/reduced lunch may need after graduation.

For example – to be a mechanic or nursing assistant, training is required. Having this College Bound promise will pay for the training or education that your son or daughter would need to begin in the workplace. There is a list of technical and training programs, as well as colleges, available. For more info, check out the College Bound website.
