 Welcome to our  "1-Stop Shop to Summer Fun" We've got a great list of fun, educational and engaging activities and events for kids. These are sponsored by SKSD and many of our community partners...we hope you and your kids have a wonderful summer!

 Summer Lunch Camp

 June 17 - August 16
(except July 4 &5)
Monday - Friday
Lunch is served 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Activities 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
For ALL youth 18 years of age and under

Every day kids will enjoy a healthy lunch and fun activities such as reading, arts & crafts, and games. Plus, community organizations will drop in for special activities and demonstrations to enrich the lives of our SK students.

SKSD will provide a FREE sack lunch for
anyone 18 and under immediately following the Wednesday programs at the Port Orchard Library through August 14.

Camp Invention:

Inspire creativity and inventive thinking during a weeklong summer adventure of fun and exciting real world challenges led by qualified educators. June 24 - 28, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at East Port Orchard Elementary School. For kids entering grades 1 - 6.

Olympic Outdoor Center

Join us this summer with kayak and standup paddleboard rentals, kids camps, classes and tours! These are great ways to get outside and create memories as a family. Summer camps are for kids ages 7-18 and you can choose from Kayak, Outdoor Adventure or Standup Paddleboard (SUP) camps. All camps are taught by fun and experienced instructors that will make the week an unforgettable experience. Bremerton Swim and Tennis Club Summer Camps: 

During Summer 2013, kids can LEARN TO SWIM with morning or evening lessons, or enjoy an afternoon of supervised pool time, fitness and fun summer camp activities. Micro Soccer Skills and Futsal classes add to the fun for the perfect add on to morning tennis camps too!

UKO Karate Camp: Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 17 – July 9 from 10:45 – 11:30 a.m. @ East Port Orchard Elementary School
Kids will learn basic techniques and body control in this fun and fast introduction to Karate. We will discuss successful attitudes for living such as: courage, never giving up, mastery, positive outlook, and teamwork. For ages 6 – 12. Fee is $30 for 6 classes. Admiral Theatre Summer Camp:

At the Admiral Theatre Summer Camp,your child will enjoy professional training in all aspects of theatre performance. Pacific Northwest Salmon Center: (360) 275-3575
 
The Salmon Center offers amazing summer camp programs with both day and overnight opportunities. Each requires a minimum enrollment and registration.
 
Their Weaving Wisdom Camp utilizes fun, hands-on activities including native plant and wildlife observation, gardening activities, and recycled art projects to teach children about environmental issues. This camp is offered in small classes from mid-June through August and is open to Grades 2 through 5.
