Supplemental Educational Services:

Students from low-income families who attend a Title 1, Part A school are eligible for Supplemental Educational Services (SES).  These services are classes or tutoring which occur outside the regular school day with educational providers approved by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).

The 2014-2015 Supplemental Educational Services Approved Provider list is available on our website at Skitsap.wednet.edu (Parents & Community/Supplemental Educational Services).  Hard copies of the approved provider list are also available in your elementary school office.

The Application for Free Supplemental Tutoring is available at the Orchard Heights Office.  The first enrollment period is October 1 - October 31st, so forms received by November 7th will be contracted with providers soon after November 7th.  Forms that are received between November 10th and December 12th will be contracted with providers soon after December 12th.

If you have additional questions, contact   Shannon Thompson at (360) 874-7060

School hours: 8:35 a.m.-3:10 p.m.
Late start Wednesday 9:20 a.m.

If your student eats breakfast at school, they may arrive 1/2 hour early.  Please do not let your child arrive earlier as we do not have proper supervision to ensure your child's safety.

Did you know you need to
re-apply every school year for free/reduced meals?
Orchard Heights
  encourages
you to check whether your students qualify for the free or reduced meals program. Our Title I federal funding is determined by free and reduced lunch counts, so whether or not your child will actually eat at school your support in securing these valuable dollars is appreciated. Families with students who are eligible for free or reduced lunches may also benefit from other programs such as free tutoring & higher education scholarships.
