Welcome to Brandon DeBritz’s homepage.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. This is my fourth year at Cedar Heights and I am thrilled to be part of an incredible school that is filled with high achieving students and teachers. Before Cedar Heights I spent 8 years teaching 5th and 6th grade at Mullenix Ridge Elementary.
I graduated from Central Washington University in 2000 and again in 2005. First with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and science education and then a master’s degree as a Reading Specialist. I am a National Board Certified teacher who completed certification in November of 2009. This is the highest and most rigorous certification level available to teachers with only 3% of educators in the country attaining the voluntary accreditation.
When not in school or working on our house, my wife Elizabeth and I enjoy spending time with our sons Jackson ( 9/05) and Preston (5/08). Keeping up with them is our other full time job!
