Welcome to Mr. Whelan's Website. I am excited about working with your child in the 2012-2013 school year! Teaching each year has some similarities to backpacking: There are ups and downs and all-arounds . . . but in the end, you reach the top and celebrate your successes. I know each of your children will celebrate many successes this year! To build an effective "team", members need to stay in touch with each other. Our team - you, your child, and myself - can work together to support your child's learning and success in the classroom. The tools at our disposal include this website, phones, email, written communication, and face-to-face conferences. I encourage you to participate in this "team challenge".
