 A note from our Principal:

It has been a great pleasure to have served as principal of Orchard Heights Elementary the last six years of my 38 year career in education. With the fondest affection, respect and admiration for the students, families and staff of Orchard Heights Elementary, I am retiring at the end of this school year. While I am excited about the new adventures ahead of me, there is a sweet sadness to be leaving behind the school family I have committed myself to for the past six years. I’m proud of the work we’ve done on our journey together. The journey has led us to three state awards for closing achievement gaps and overall improvement, three years of School of Distinction Awards, and most recently candidacy to become an International Baccalaureate School. Together we learned to believe in the power of effort and the magic of encouragement! As I say goodbye to a tremendous team and the BEST students and families, I also want to say thank you for a wonderful time!

Do you know that you need to
re-apply every school year for free/reduced meals?
Orchard Heights

you to check whether your students qualify for the free or reduced meals program. Our Title I federal funding is determined by free and reduced lunch counts, so whether or not your child will actually eat at school your support in securing these valuable dollars is appreciated.
