Welcome fellow Trailblazers

My mission is to ignite in my students the joy of discovery, confidence to face challenges, and pride in their accomplishments.  I will create an environment in which students are not afraid to make mistakes, but are encouraged to embrace them as opportunities for learning. Recognizing that my students must meet the challenges and opportunities in a world not yet imagined, I will teach problem-solving skills and provide a safe place in which to practice them.  I will celebrate every accomplishment, no matter how small, with my students. 

The twenty-first century will bring challenges and advantages mankind has not yet dreamed of.  To be successful in this dynamic future my students will need much more than academic skills.  They will be required to address new challenges with flexibility, confidence, courage, and a practiced plan for problem solving.  When faced with a daunting task, my students must be able to identify and celebrate success each step toward the completion of that task. This is the rationale for my mission statement.
