Government (12th Grade)

Government is a required senior social studies course. Although many students would NEVER choose this class, it arrives in their life on the cusp of the right of passage in turning the age of 18 and earning the right to vote. This course will provide students an opportunity to explore (1) the foundations of American government, (2) the legislative branch, (3) the executive branch, and (4) the judicial branch. Students will blend their past knowledge with their newly acquired to find meaning, value, and importance in living a government for the people, by the people.
