Please check back in September 2013.
Thank you.

Getting started. To complete an online application go to the Employment Opportunities  page.  Determine your status, certificated or classified (as listed above).  Then begin an online application.
  1. Submit supporting documents. Read and follow all the instructions for submitting supporting documents listed in the Employment Opportunities page.
  2. Begin Application.  After you have read the application procedures click on 'Begin Application" and proceed as directed. Be sure to apply for the open substitution position when application is complete.
  3. District Skills Test.  The General Knowledge Test covers basic English and Math skills.  A passing grade is 80%. The Keyboarding (Typing Test) covers speed and accuracy.  A passing grade for a substitute is 40 wpm.  Some full-time positions require different scores. The 10-key covers accuracy in data entry and a passing grade is 88% accuracy. The following substitute positions require passing the district tests (para-educators, lunchroom/playground attendants, office assistants and secretaries.)  See the District Skills Test page on our website for instructions on how to register for these tests.
  4. Attend Orientation. Completed applications (as described above) will be screened for the substitute pool. Once your application has been screened and approved you will be contacted to attend a 2 hour substitute orientation.  Substitute orientations are generally held once a month throughout the school year.
