Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. I am so excited to join the Hidden Creek family this year and am beyond thrilled to be working with my favorite grade level - Kindergarten! Kindergarten is an amazing time in a child's life where dreams begin coming true. I cannot wait to team up with you as we make this the best learning experience possible for your little angels.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Chantal Lynch and this is my first year teaching at Hidden Creek Elementary. While new to this particular school, I am very familiar with South Kitsap School District. For the past couple of years I have worked at Mullenix Ridge Elementary. Last year I taught a 2nd/3rd split, and the year before I taught 6th grade for 5 months as a maternity leave replacement. I am a graduate of Central Washington University where I earned my teaching degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education. My love for children and teaching began when I myself was just a child. By the time I was old enough to have a job, I knew I wanted to work in preschool. From the age of 16 until I graduated from college, I worked as a preschool teacher and nanny. As of now I have no children - although my 2 year old puppies (Peanut Butter and Jellybean) keep me pretty busy! When I am not teaching I enjoy reading. I am a lifelong learner and continue to research the art of teaching. I also believe there is nothing quite like snuggling on the couch and getting lost in a good book.
