I am happy to say that this will be my 14th year teaching and every year I enjoy more and more. My first 3 years of teaching was a 5th/6th grade multiage at Sunnyslope Elementary. Then, I made my way to Cedar Heights Junior High so that I could teach math all day! My favorite subjects are math and science, so it is my pleasure to teach math all day. I earned my Master's in Technology in Education, so you will see technology integrated throughout our math curriculum. This is my fifth year teaching at Discovery Alternative High School. I am looking forward to a wonderful year. My husband, John, is a math teacher at Renaissance Alternative High School. He taught 8 years previously at North Mason High School. My daughter Karli has just started her journey towards being a mathematician in Fourth Grade this year. My youngest - Melanie is turning 5 on October 30. My hobbies include dancing, scrapbooking, golfing, swimming, wakeboarding, camping, hiking, rock-climbing, kayaking, reading, listening to music, watching a few movies, playing on the computer, hmmm, that's all I can think of to list for now.
