Bus Riding Handbook and Rules

BusSchool bus transportation is a cooperative matter involving school, parents, students, and community.
 
Dear Parents, Students, and Staff:
 
The Parent, Student, & Staff School Bus Handbook (PDF File) was designed to give you a better understanding of school bus transportation in the South Kitsap School District. The District encompasses one hundred and fifty square miles of Kitsap County. The District’s buses travel over one million miles per school year transporting over six thousand students per day. Regarding vehicle accidents, passengers in school buses are one hundred and seventy times safer than in automobiles. We encourage your children to ride the bus to school.
