Our Vision

Hidden Creek Elementary fosters a dynamic, responsive and nurturing learning environment that empowers our students to achieve their full potential through academic success, productive citizenship and personal responsibility. As contributing citizens, the Hidden Creek Community knows and demonstrates traits of good character.  Mutual respect, kindness, and empathetic listening are practiced on a daily basis.

            The Hidden Creek Community, staff and students, is motivated to learn, uses collaboration effectively, and displays an attitude for success.  Learning is taken seriously.  Students are: persistent and inquisitive learners; complex thinkers; fluent and precise users of language. They know how to ask questions and find answers, and produce quality products.

            There exists an active partnership between families and staff where the mission and beliefs are embraced. Open communication, enhanced by the use of technology, creates an atmosphere where students come to school prepared and ready to learn. As a member of the larger Port Orchard Community, Hidden Creek Elementary supports local service and business partners and is supported by them. Students demonstrate citizenship through projects of caring and compassion.
