 Happy New Year! I hope that 2013 brings you joy, happiness, good health and a profound sense of hope. I feel so blessed to come to Hidden Creek each day and to spend time with our amazing Hawks! I am consistently awed by their many unique gifts and talents, boundless energy and capacity to find joy in the smallest things. Thank you for sharing your precious children with us. January is a time to reflect, renew and recharge! I took time to think about what makes our school a great place for kids and adults to learn and grow and came up with quite a list. OUR STUDENTS:At Hidden Creek we are indeed blessed with the most amazing kids. Their energy, spirit and inquisitive minds make me smile every day. I am captivated by their desire to learn and appreciate their willingness to try new things and to work hard even when faced with a challenge. They envision a great future for themselves and harbor a sense of hope. I am humbled by their willingness to care for each other. They go out of their way to help their classmates and the adults in our building. They exemplify the pillars of character, and I know the world will be in good hands when they grow up. OUR STAFF: I am so thankful for the dedicated adults who work at Hidden Creek. Each day they come to work and pour their hearts and souls into helping our Hawks succeed. Our teachers freely put in long hours and give their all to help every child. They work together, support our students and each other, and hold an infinite optimism; I love seeing their passion and commitment. Our support staff including our custodians, office and playground supervisors, our Para-educators and our food service workers go out of their way to make our school the happiest place on Earth. OUR VOLUNTEERS: Our volunteers are invaluable! I am consistently amazed by the many hands offered each day to help our staff, students and school. I appreciate the hours of time given. Hidden Creek is absolutely a better place because of the service our volunteers offer. I know we don’t recognize you enough so from the bottom of my heart, a huge thanks to all our volunteers. OUR P.T.A: We have such a fantastic P.T.A! They provide us with fun family activities and make sure that we have resources to enrich our classrooms. The countless hours they put in allow us to have wireless internet, Net books, game tables on our playground, educational programs for our students, assemblies, field trips and much more! Our school is a better place because of our P.T.A; they have made and continue to make a difference in the lives of our children. OUR FAMILIES: Thank you all for your help, support, participation and trust. We love seeing you in our hallways, dropping off and picking up your Hawks, and attending school events. We thank you for your partnership as we work together to educate our precious kids. We know that you are your child’s first teacher; you do great work! OUR SCHOOL DISTRICT: I love our school!
