Welcome to the 2012-2013 School Year! 
I am excited about the new school year and all it promises to bring to our school community. Our 'vision' at Sunnyslope is 'Reaching Every Star...Every Star Reaching'. This means that our entire staff is committed to helping EVERY student become the best that they can be in all academic, social, physical and emotional areas of their lives. No Exceptions! It also means we expect each student to REACH their hardest to acheive success, No Exceptions!
We believe strongly that we are called to educate the WHOLE CHILD at Sunnyslope. Additionally, we believe that 'Every Star Reaching' implies that each student and family is committed to becoming the best they can be. This means coming to school 'ready to learn' and actively participating in their education. Families are asked to support their stars by providing physical, emotional and academic support. At Sunnyslope, we believe it really does 'take a village to raise a child' and we want to create that village atmosphere. We need you to help us in this important work.
