New to South Kitsap School District?

FamilyIt is our pleasure to welcome you to the South Kitsap School District where quality instruction is delivered in a safe, caring, student-centered learning environment. The successes we enjoy at SKSD are due to our teachers and staff who connect with our children and instill a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
 
Community pride is evident throughout the district. Each year parents, businesses, and community members volunteer hundreds of hours in our schools and donate thousands of dollars in resources. Key community leaders and parents have also launched a community initiative in South Kitsap that focuses on building assets or strengths in our students through projects created to help them succeed and feel they are valued members of our community.

Student Registration
Register at the main office of the school your child will attend. A parent or legal guardian should accompany students when registering and bring:
  • The student's immunization records
  • Withdrawal form or report card from the last school attended
  • Proof of residency, (e.g. utility bill or tax statement)

School Boundary Maps and Contact Information
If you are unsure which school your child will attend, go to School Boundary Maps, enter your address and your neighborhood schools will appear on the map. Or, call the district transportation department at 360-874-7093 for more information - they will use your home address to confirm your school attendance area.
 
 
After School Programs
South Kitsap School District offers a  Boys & Girls Club at two locations; Orchard Heights and Sidney Glen Elementary School. Transportation from all elementary school is aviailable.
