Way to Eat, Hawks!
For the second year in a row, Hidden Creek and the other elementary schools in South Kitsap have earned the Bronze Award for the Healthier U.S. School Challenge,
a voluntary program to promote healthy eating that is part of the USDA’s National School Lunch Program.

Healthy Youth Survey
Our 6th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in the Washington State Healthy Youth Survey. It will take place during the week of October 15-19. Join us for the 2nd Annual "Turn Off the TV" Fun Night! 
There will be fun-filled, family entertainment!
Play math games, create art,
enjoy all types of activities as a family.
And it is all FREE!

The Harlem Wizards are returning for another exciting night of entertainment basketball to South Kitsap High School.
Their opponent will be the South Kitsap Treasure Hunters
a team consisting of teachers and staff from SKSD

The game starts at 6:30 pm and doors open at 5:30.
Advance tickets are $10; kids 3 and under are free.

Tickets at the door will be $12. 
Get your tickets early. Last year's game nearly sold out. The school with the highest number of tickets sold will get priority
seating. 

The game is sponsored by the South Kitsap PTSA Council and proceeds benefit the students of the
South Kitsap School District

Congratulations and Thanks!
 At the event, Great Teachers! Great Schools! Great Kids!held at the Kitsap Mall on Saturday, March 3, Hidden Creek Elementary was voted the favorite school in South Kitsap School District! Thank you to all the parents and students who voted for Hidden Creek! As a winning school, Barnes and Noble has awarded a $200 gift card to our library for purchasing books. The event was sponsored by Barnes and Noble, The Bremerton Sun, and Olympic Uniserv.
