The Washington State Mathematics Council and Olympic Educational Service District announced that Hillaree Zamberlin of Sunnyslope Elementary School was selected as a recipient of the 2012 Excellence in Mathematics Education Award. She was commended for her contribution to mathematics education in this region and for making a difference in the lives of her students. She will receive her award at a special event on Monday, May 14, 2012.
