Stuff the Bus a Huge Success

This year, bus drivers helped deliver 3,730 pounds of food and over $735 in cash donations to South Kitsap Helpline. “The response from our community was fabulous and our elementary schools have always been huge supporters of this food drive, they are the backbone of its success”, said Vicki Murtha, a SKSD bus driver who was the coordinator of this event. “

The South Kitsap Helpline is non-profit organization which has served South Kitsap children, adults and senior citizens in need since 1980. They are dedicated to providing food and other assistance, as well as referrals to our community members who find themselves in crisis.
