Boys & Girls Club Offers Summer Camp for Youth

Looking for something fun for your kids to do this summer? Exciting times await them at the Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp. Camp is open June 25 - August 17 from 7:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at two locations: Orchard Heights and Sidney Glen Elementary Schools.

Children ages 6 – 13 are eligible to attend. Campers will enjoy fun activities with an educational twist and varying themes all summer long. Daily lunch and snacks are provided.

The breakdown of cost is:

• Registration Fee: $15
• Non-Needy Weekly Fee: $120
• Reduced Price weekly fee: $60
• Free Lunch Weekly fee: $30

No child is turned away due to inability to pay. Boys & Girls Club members will work with each family individually to make a payment structure that is right for their family’s needs. Field trips are available to students for an additional cost.

Teen Camp Counselors Wanted:

Students entering grades 8 – 12 next year are eligible to be a Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp Counselor In Training (CIT). Teens learn valuable job skills and work in a fun, professional environment while earning community service hours. CIT’s will also be rewarded with a special end-of-camp field trip to Wild Waves and awards ceremony at the waterfront park.  Staff shirt and training are provided and each CIT receives weekly feedback.
