I hope to see you all at Mullenix in Motion tonight!

We did more "tow truck connectors" today in cursive, learned about metaphors, and did some more MSP prep studying. It was a busy day but the children seem relieved to see that the test will be manageable.

In math, we reviewed solving multi-digit multiplication problems using partial products. We then learned how to find all of the factors of a product. I teach the factor rainbow which is a fun way to learn this skill. Here is how it works:
         16

1, 2, 4, 8, 16  (1 x 16, 2 x 8, 4 x 4)

The children would then draw arches to connect the factors together, therefore making a rainbow.

You all received bags with index cards for MSP testing on Tuesday, The note says that you are getting 4 cards and bags....however, I figured that I'll send the next set of bags and cards on Friday the 4th so you aren't holding on to an extra set for a week. Here is what the bags will look like:

Have a great weekend and I'll see you all on Monday!
