April 30th

We started our day with a fabulous assembly. The Mullenix Ridge choir sang today and had some amazing solo acts. We sure have a talented group of students here.

We talked a bit about some reading vocabulary that they may see on their test tomorrow. We looked at some released test items and talked about how great they are going to do. Mrs. Chandler came with some "magic" pencils that will help take the knowledge from their brains to their papers. She also read us Diffendoofer Day from Dr. Seuss and reassured them all that they will do fabulous on their test.

Math was spent sharing money equally between people. They were asked to share $10 bills first, then $1 bills, and lastly coins. Simplifying the thinking process. Tomorrow will be spent doing the traditional method of multiplication with multi-digit numbers.

Science: We immobilized our thumb joint today and started to attempt some simple tasks. Tomorrow we'll be immobilizing some fingers and trying the same tasks. I wonder which immobilized fingers are easier to work with.

No homework tonight. Please get out in the fresh air and run around. Get a good nights rest...research says between 10-11 hours. Eat a good breakfast in the morning, and don't forget your brains....it's important that we have those. :) See you tomorrow. Oh, don't forget your snack bags tomorrow for our breaks.
