Orchard Heights PTSO officer terms will be up at the end of this school year. We have 5 board positions that need to be filled.

 "Pancakes & Pizzas with the Principals"

The class with the highest attendance during April was Mrs. Mort's 3rd Grade class. They enjoyed a fabulous pancake feast, generously donated by the Family Pancake House.

 
Top students from each classroom for AR word count (Books read and tests passed) in April also celebrated their success as they had lunch with
Mrs. Pack and Mr. Tebo.

Billion Word Boost

June 5th, 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the Library

 
We are pleased to invite you to attend a "read and quiz" night.  Bring blankets, get cozy and enjoy cookies. After reading short quizzable books, parents can help students take the corresponding Accelerated Reader test and watch our word count grow! 

Students who attend the event will receive a special Billion Word Club wrist band that reads: "Billion Word Boost" and will only be available by attending this event. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Madalyn Thorpe, Ryan Lamoureux, Lucas Watson, Dylan Rockafield, Mamie Bernardo, Emil Pemble, Micah Johnson, Riley Zappen, Makenzie Bell, Christopher Wadkins, Miranda Keating, Minh Vernon who have read more than 1,000,000 words individually. Also, to Mikaela King, Morgan Hamm, Marlowe Lawson and Jenna Young who have each read over 2,000,000 words individually! We are expecting this group to continue to grow until the end of the school year and will celebrate their amazing success!

Kindergarten Round-Up

Thursday, May 24th 3:30-5:30 p.m.

For all Orchard Heights Kindergarten students in the fall. Please come for a brief visit. Meet the teachers and staff, talk to other parents and students. Enjoy a snack and sign up for our free Kindergarten Summer Program.
 
Kindergarten Registration Packets are available in the main office 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Please bring birth certificate and immunization records.
