** FRESHMAN REMINDER**
Camp fee is due by 3pm Friday June 23rd at the high school ASB office.
GEAR CHECK OUT for camp is on SATURDAY June 24 or SUNDAY June 25 3:30-5pm in the boys locker room. You will not be issued gear for the start of camp on Monday, if you do not have a PINK CLEARANCE SLIP to give to the coach on Sat or Sun. Pink slips are issued from the high school athletics office once you have completed the registration process.
For incoming 9th grade:
Print, sign and return the following to SKHS ASB office with payment.
Print, sign and return the following permission slip to SKHS athletics office.
ALL 9-12 Grade Players:
In addition you are required to have a current Athletic Packet on file at SKHS athletics office, which includes a current sports physical. Click here for more TURN OUT INFO.
You do not need to get an updated physical if yours was done in the last 13 months, but you do need to provide a copy to the athletics office if you have not already done so.
The packet you complete will be good for the entire 2017/18 school year. (Sport and ASB fees for the 2017-18 school year are due after August 1st, 2017)

On May 15, 2017, Superintendent Karst Brandsma announced that Cory Vartanian has been selected as the new Head Football Coach at South Kitsap High School.
Mr. Vartanian has extensive coaching experience and has served as Assistant Football Coach at South Kitsap High School for the past seven years including time as Linebackers’ Coach, Offensive Line Coach, Offensive Coordinator - Quarterback Coach, Run Game Coordinator, Tight Ends’ Coach, and Wide Receivers’ Coach. He also served as Boys’ Varsity Soccer Coach for five years. Prior to his time in South Kitsap, he served as Special Teams Coordinator at the University of Rochester and Offensive Assistant - Special Teams at North Dakota State. Mr. Vartanian received his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreational Management from North Dakota State University in 2006.
In addition to coaching, Mr. Vartanian is a Special Education Para Educator currently assigned at Orchard Heights Elementary. He will transition to South Kitsap High School for the 2017-18 school year.
“The interview process was well thought out, and very thorough,” said Mr. Vartanian. “I’m very thankful to the interview panel, as well as Mr. Brandsma for selecting me to be the next Head Football Coach. Spring ball is two weeks away and it’s time to get to work.”
