    The Athletics Office will be closed from Thursday June 29 - Tuesday August 8, 2017
    ASB office window is open from 9 am -2 pm Monday –Friday.  
    The building is closed on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4.     
    *FALL SPORTS if you plan to participate in a fall sport pay attention to the following information:

    Football starts on AUGUST 16 all other Fall Season sports begins on Monday August 21, 2017. Fall sports are Crew, Cross Country, Football, Girls Soccer, Girls Swim & Dive, Boys Tennis, Volleyball, Boys Water Polo, Girls & Boys Golf.

    You must turn in a complete and updated athletic packet for the 2017-18 school year. The Athletic Packet includes a current Sports Physical Exam and Emergency Medical Card.

    Physical Exams are current for 13 months from the exam date, per SKSD policy, so if yours has or will expire over the summer make sure you make a doctor’s appointment now!

    Packets are available from the Athletics Office and online at: "Turn Out Info" 

    The high school athletics office re-opens on Wednesday, August 9.

    Sport fee and ASB payments should be made at the ASB Office.

    You need to be fine free and have a "pink clearance slip" from the Athletics Office prior to turning out for any fall sport.  

    Academic eligibility is based on end of semester 2 grades (or accredited summer school replacement class taken).

    If you're interested in playing sports at South Kitsap, the links on the left titled "Turn Out Info" and "FAQs" will help you get started.  There are forms to complete, physicals to obtain, fines and fees to be paid and lastly, every athlete must turn in a pink clearance slip to their coach before reporting on the first day of try-outs.  The pink slip is originated out of the Athletic Office.

    *The SPSL charge for all events starting after 5PM on week days.  This also includes any sub-varsity level contests preceding the varsity one.  

    Admission Fees for all Regular Season Contests

    Adults & Students without ASB - $6.00

    Visiting High School & Junior High students with ASB - $4.00

    Elementary Students & Senior Citizens (62+) - $2.00

    Children (5 and under) - FREE

    SKHS Students with ASB (at HOME contests) - FREE 

    Reminder regarding "Travel Rules for Athletes/Activities"

    1.School transportation will be provided for away contests or competitions. The participant must travel to and from athletic contests with the team in transportation provided for this purpose. Only on personal written request of a parent/guardian, for a special circumstance, will this practice be altered. Students will only be released to their parent or guardian.

    2.Athletes are expected to remain with their squad and under the supervision of their coach when attending any contests.

    3.Misconduct of any sort while traveling to and from an away contest will be dealt with according to school and team policies.

    4. Visiting athletes are direct representatives of their school, community, and homes and should conduct themselves accordingly.


    SKHS sports fee - $75 per student, per sport.
    Middle school sports fee - $35 per student, per sport.
    2015/16 High School ASB Fee: $45.00 / Middle School ASB Fee: $30.00
    In addition to these fees there may be sport specific costs, please check with the coach on any additional requirements for your team. 



    Please help the high school athletic medicine staff with getting your athlete’s correct medical information. The athletic medicine staff has set up a website where you can enter your athlete’s medical information along with other valuable information including injuries, allergies and medications.
