PO Chamber recognizes Star Staff

During the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce luncheon on April 13, two deserving South Kitsap employees were recognized with Star Staff Awards. Classified and certificated staff members throughout the school district are nominated by their peers or supervisor based on their work in four categories: Team Work, Innovation, Job Performance, and Student Connection/Engagement. Winners are selected and recognized three times a year at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon with a certificate of recognition and gift cards from Chamber businesses. Nate Morrison, Journeyman Electrician in the Facilities Department, received the award for Classified Star Staff Member and Jobie Flint, Assistant Principal at Cedar Heights Middle School, received the Certificated Star Staff Award. Mr. Morrison was nominated by Facilities Director Tom Adams and Mrs. Flint was nominated by Hillaree Zamberlin at Cedar Heights.
